Islam Al Bayaa is the Head of Advisory in KPMG Saudi Arabia and has more than 25 years of experience covering a wide range of services such as financial due diligence, valuation, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, debt advisory, deal & joint venture structuring, acquisition strategy, as well as public and private partnerships.
Islam Al Bayaa has a track record of building businesses, leading major engagements, building client relations and motivating the people around him. His expertise also covers various sectors including financial services, public sector, real estate, manufacturing, oil & gas, chemicals, retail & trade, pharmaceuticals, transportation and construction.
His career started in KPMG London in 1993 where he qualified as an ACA then focused on financial due diligence in the financial sector. In 2000, Islam worked in investment banking in London for 9 years mainly concentrating on M&A transactions in the financial sector across Europe.
In January 2009 Islam rejoined KPMG in Saudi Arabia to set up the corporate finance department in Riyadh. In 2013 he took on the responsibility to head the Deal Advisory function. He became the Head of Advisory for Saudi Arabia from Oct 2017.
Islam holds a Masters in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, UK, and a Masters in Finance from London Business School, UK.
