Building Knowledge Economies

Renowned economist and thought leader Professor Nouriel Roubini will lay out the road map for building Knowledge Economies in the GCC in his Keynote Address.
Prof. Roubini aka ‘Dr. Doom’ will also focus on the future of Fintech, cryptocurrencies, digital transformation, and the new global economic realities.
The GCC Governments and businesses are focusing on building Knowledge Economies moving away from oil as part of their economic diversification plans. Prof. Roubini will discuss the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in the diversification journey.
The economist will also provide his views on current global risks and what region could do to address new challenges, along with OPEC dynamics and new revenue resources.
Roubini is a professor of economics at New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is the Chairman of Roubini Macro Associates, a global macroeconomic consultancy firm in New York.
He has an extensive policy experience as well as broad academic credentials.
He was Co-Founder and Chairman of Roubini Global Economics from 2005-2016 – a firm whose website was named one of the best economics web resources by BusinessWeek, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal and the Economist.
