Jean-Pierre Le Calvez holds the position of Global Head for Partnerships and Customer Marketing for HP. In this role, Jean Pierre works with partners to drive preference and demand for HP’s products and solutions in support of marketing and sales programs.
Before this, he was Vice President of Marketing for HP’s Printing and Personal Systems Group in Europe, Middle-East and Africa. Jean Pierre was responsible for demand generation and for the total marketing investment envelope across all product and business lines, delivering customer focused strategic marketing programs that are fully integrated and end to end.
Jean-Pierre has been at HP 11 years and has extensive marketing and communications experience. He has held a number of key marketing positions for major companies as well as start-up ventures and development organizations. Prior to coming to HP, he was Head of Advocacy and Communications at the GAVI Alliance, a Gates Foundation funded public private partnership dedicated to saving lives through
immunization. Before that, his previous positions included: Chief Marketing Officer for Philips’ Adelante Technologies and Senior
Director, WW strategic marketing and analysis at Palm. Prior, at Apple, Jean-Pierre was responsible for marketing communications and PR activities as well as government relations for the EMEA region. Earlier, at Texas Instruments he held both sales and marketing positions.
Jean-Pierre is graduated from the University of Nice (France) with a post graduate degree (DEA) in Political Marketing and Communications, a Master’s degree in Foreign Applied studies. Jean-Pierre holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas where he taught marketing and advertising research for 3 years.
