Italian Journalist and Candidate to the Italian Senate.
Born in Florence on the 19th January 1977, Allegra is an Italian journalist. After working several years for Corriere della Sera, the Huffington Post and Linkiesta, focusing on women condition and gender gap in Italy, Allegra moved to London, United Kingdom, where she joined the Italian Democratic Party, carrying out two electoral campaigns for the former Italian Prime Minister, abroad. In 2015, she moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where she worked for the United Nations Development Programme, as their Editor in Chief, writing annual reports on Sustainability for the Arab Government. In 2018, the Italian Democratic Party candidates Allegra for the Senate of the Italian Republic, in Africa, Asia and Australia, representing more than 270.000 Italians living in those countries.
